The Sheehan High School hockey team had a very good season this year. Led by seniors Joe Loubier, Steve Loubier, Ryan Gargano, Justin Brangiero, Craig Prema, Mike Thomas, John Roche and captain Brendan Giatrelis, the team was able to reach their goal of making it to the states. Ralph Shaw, Brian Graham and Rick Garrison coached the boys and motivated them to have a successful season. With an overall record of 10-8-2, the team beat Rocky Hill in the qualifying round which led the to the state tournament where they suffered an unfortunate loss to Xavier.
