The Sheehan Hockey team finished 15-5 this year, placing second in the Southern Connecticut Conference, with a loss from Cheshire High School 4-2.  However, the Titans still had the CIAC tournament to worry about, finishing 3rd in Division II.  In the first round, the Titans beat Branford, 6-1.  The second round was a close call for the team, beating North Branford in overtime, 6-5.  In the semifinals the Titans played hard but lost to a strong Fairfield hockey team.  This had been the farthest the hockey team has gone in the CIAC tournament. 

Mike Busillo was awarded SCC Team II, while Senior Brendan Kane was awarded SCC Team I and All-State Team II.  Lastly, Tyler Timek was awarded SCC and All-State Team I, along with All-Area Player of the Year.
